Carolyn was the Opal School Education Office Coordinator.
Opal was an important part of my life for over a decade. I loved being the Opal Office Coordinator. This position allowed me to do two of my favorite things – organizing and helping people. Each day was varied and challenging. Opal was more than a job – it was an ever-changing family and a community that continued to grow with each new cohort we welcomed. As students and families travel through Opal and life, it has been my pleasure and privilege to share in their lives and experiences.
My husband and I are the parents of three Opal Alums: Gabriel ‘06, Grace ‘08 and Josephine ’10. My favorite activity is reading, especially magazines (Popular Mechanics), novels (mainly fiction), cookbooks and textbooks. Gardening has fallen by my hobby wayside, but I plan to pick it up again…someday. I also plan to knit or crochet something other than a skinny scarf…someday.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
